Rainbow's 21st Birthday  Celebrations 2008

South West Region Rainbow Sleepover

On May 10th 2008

It is envisaged to have Rainbow Units from all over the South West of England Region all hold a 21st Birthday celebratory sleepover on this date, all on the same circus theme. [ideas can be found on the circus sleepover page of this website]  We hope that those who  as yet have not taken an overnight licence or taken Rainbows on a sleepover will take this opportunity to do so. Please do talk to your Rainbow Adviser for more information and help with organising your Celebratory Sleepover.

We would also like to do something to commemorate our celebrations. Each Rainbow Unit in the County will be given a 6" x 6" square of felt to decorate to represent their individual unit, all the squares will eventually be put together  to form a banner. The squares of felt are available from your Rainbow Adviser.

North Somerset County has also had special T towels printed  to celebrate the 21st birthday that can be coloured in with fabric pens by the Rainbows and we hope that units who are not able to  hold a sleepover will participate with these as near to the May 10th date as possible. The T Towels are £1.40 each and postage and packing on 15 = £3.68 or 20-25 = £5.75
